40-50 gallon typical size, has a standing pilot. Efficiency 60%.

Typical life span is 8-13 years.


Unit has to be vented thru a chimney liner (code).


​Most manufacturers recommend flushing tank at least twice a year.


Add a mixing valve and this will increase capacity by approximately 30-40%

(very useful depending on how many family members, especially teenagers).


TANKLESS
 
On average tankless units will give you a minimum of 3.5 gallons of hot water continuously. Usually they are installed on an outside wall and pvc piping used to vent exhaust outside. Typical lifespan is 15-20 years with preventive maintenance. We service all makes of tankless water heater’s.
