Furnaces:

We service furnaces. Whether your furnace is from the 1950’s or a 80% to 98% efficient furnace.

INSPECTION:

• • visual inspect heat exchanger
  • combustion analysis
  • check blower, ent motor amp draws
  • check blower wheel
  • check/ohm out ignitor
  • clean flame sensor
  • clean burners/vacuum
  • check air filter
  • check humidifier and pad.
  • check airflow (is ductwork sized properly to furnace?)
  • clean/vacuum furnace

Boilers:

We service hot water boilers, steam boilers from the 1920’s to modern 80% and 95% efficient boilers.

INSPECTION:

• • visual inspect water jacket/heat exchanger
  • check safety controls
  • check blow off valve
  • clean pilot and burners
  • check sight glass,or auto fill valve
  • draft test
  • clean low water cut off probe (steam boiler)
  • check cut in cut out switch
  • combustion analysis

Air Conditioners:

INSPECTION:

• • check compressor and fan motor operation, amp draws
  • check charge/refrigerant level in unit
  • check capacitors
  • wash condenser coil if needed
  • check air filter at furnace
  • shut down humidifier
  • check blower motor on furnace
  • flush a/c drain at furnace
  • check airflow/duct sizing

Water Heaters:

We service all makes of tankless water heaters: Peerless, Noritz, Rinnai, Navian, Bosch.

FLUSHING TANKLESS:

• • requires valve manifold to isolate tankless so it can be flushed out
  • valve manifold can be installed if not present
  • descaler in a solution of water used with pump to circulate thru tankless for a minimum of 45 minutes
  • cycle unit heating operation at max. setting

INSPECTION:

• • flush condensate drain and pump
  • check/clean intake screen if applicable
  • flush condensate trap if accessible
  • clean sparker/ignitor
  • cycle unit heating operation at max. setting

DESOOTING TANKLESS:

* usually not recommended. Units that need desooting are generally 12-20 years old, cost prohibitive.

• • pull burner assemblies
  • blow out orifices and venting
  • remove heat exchanger for cleaning
